At St.Matthew's we recognise the growing need and dependency on food banks for many, so we encourage and welcome donations of any dried food/items with a long life.

We don't wholly run and administer the food bank directly from church, but we do operate the distribution of food parcels via referrals mostly from Social Services.

If you would like to contribute to our food bank supplies you can drop goods off whenever the church is open - we have a basket at the back of church where we gather the goods, before moving them to space 4.

Equally, if you know someone who is in need of a food parcel, please get in touch with the vicar or one of the churchwardens.
